The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and lead the Centralized Accommodations team to ensure compliance, administration, and implementation regarding the enterprise-wide accommodations process.
Responsibilities
Provide direction, leadership, and supervision of Accommodation Lead Specialists on the Centralized Accommodations team, to carry out operations and ensure a quality and timely team member experience.
Maintain and foster relationships across stakeholder teams, representing the Centralized Accommodations team in broader strategy conversations and solution development
Manage the development of the Centralized Accommodations team to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and subject-matter-expertise
Provide coaching across Centralized Accommodations team to encourage critical thinking and consistent decision-making regarding accommodations
Identify and provide insights on accommodations requests and trends to stakeholders and leadership
Develop and optimize relevant workflows and maintenance, including development of KPIs to measure performance and productivity across the team. Responsible for action plans related to KPIs when team is not meeting targets.
Identifying needed technology to optimize the accommodations process, documentation needs, and team member experience
Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline
10+ years of work experience, preferably in operations
5+ years of leadership experience
Project Management skills
Strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills to manage relationships
Ability to formulate and present recommendations that improve business processes and enhance team member experience
Strong prioritizing, organizational, problem solving and decision making skills
Influencing and collaborative skills and the ability to work with all levels in the organization
Ability to work in night shift
Preferred Qualifications:
A good understanding of federal and state disability and accommodation laws, in addition to understanding the workplace accommodation process
Experience with managing a team, including developing KPIs and measuring performance across a team
