  THE TEAM

  Ticketmaster Music is a passionate team dedicated to supporting the needs of the world’s biggest touring artists (and their promoters, agents, and managers). Tasked with building Ticketmaster’s relationships with the Artist community, this entails being on the pulse of where the business is moving through discussion with major industry players, informing the Artist community of the latest developments within Ticketmaster, assisting with the operations of events, acting as a resource to help maximize ticket sales and awareness, driving incremental revenue throughout the tour cycle, and understanding Artist needs and how Ticketmaster can serve them with new Products and Services.

  Within Ticketmaster Music, the Global Pricing team plays a critical role – an invaluable resource for top tours to price their tickets to market and capture fair value on their events, ensuring we sell the right ticket, to the right fan, at the right price.

  THE JOB

  The Sr. Manager, Global Pricing Operations is responsible for managing operational best practices for Ticketmaster’s growing and constantly-evolving global pricing business, as well as managing global projects to build alignment on pricing initiatives. The role helps ensure pricing teams and other pricing stakeholders have the tools and operational support they need to execute against their goals. This role will collaborate with regional operations leads around the world to champion Ticketmaster Music’s pricing initiatives and provide guidance – building relationships with promoters, and ensuring successful setup, pricing execution, and settlement of their events. This role will also manage the Pricing Escalation process – create and maintain strong relationships with users of the Pricing Tool, internal support teams, as well as the product and engineering teams.

  The Sr. Manager, Global Pricing Operations will be required to have client-facing interaction to strategize, present recommendations, and grow relationships. Working in a fluid environment, the ability of this role to effectively prioritize is crucial; this role must adapt to change, be innovative, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure the pricing workflow is optimized and stable.

  WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  Manage the operations process for market-based pricing events around the world – setup, troubleshooting, ongoing pricing, reporting, product, and settlement

  Sustain operational success; investigate issues quickly, be proactive in finding solutions, and think ahead of the next challenge

  Engage internal support teams in the pricing team’s mission

  Identify and build critical partner relationships and create a pricing support plan to reach targeted goals

  Develop global best practices, collaborating with local teams and stakeholders to implement them locally while also developing an understanding of local market needs

  Identify trends in escalations, find creative solutions, and hold stakeholders accountable to drive results

  Collaborate with Product and Engineering team on feature priorities, rollout, roadmap, testing, and design

  Monitor major onsales and ensure Pricing escalations are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible, putting systems in place to ensure incidents are proactively resolved

  Build relationships with pricing partners, and advocate for pricing initiatives and internal goals

  Work with cross-functional groups, including - but not limited to - tour execution, marketing, finance, event operations, legal, product teams, data teams, etc., to initiate and execute ad hoc projects within the constraints of tight, and often fluid, time deadlines for pricing operations programs

  WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  Expert knowledge of the Ticketmaster Host system, event build process, and settlement

  Thorough understanding of the business dynamics between venue, promoter and artist

  Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Airtable

  Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently

  Experience managing direct reports a plus

  Must have exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  At least 5 years work experience

  Ticketing experience required

  Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

  $76,000.00 USD - $95,000.00 USD
