Your mission is to improve the user experience and business results by crafting world-class data infrastructure and enabling data-driven automated solutions and business insights. You and your team will lead the design, development, and management of our analytical tools and reporting. You are committed to staying updated with the latest BI trends and technologies, ensuring the BI infrastructure remains efficient and effective. The successful candidate will demonstrate an eye for business, experience in developing reporting and analytical infrastructures, strong communication, an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, and experience in a fast paced environment.
Recipe for Success - What's "in store" for the role
Manage a dedicated team of Business Intelligence Analysts to achieve its goals and development potential. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the BI team.Partner with teams such as data engineering, product management, and business teams, to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement data-driven projects.Provide actionable insights and business intelligence initiatives to senior leadership which support business goals. Research and invent new ways to define and measure ecommerce program effectiveness and productivity.Create and maintain data product roadmaps including near-term delivery/releases and long-term product evolution.Collaborate with business customers and the leadership team to follow and report key performance indicators against goals.Perform regular system audits to ensure complete and accurate reporting of data/metrics.Optimize costs within the Business Intelligence function while maintaining quality and efficiency.
The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients
Bachelor's degree or equal experience in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field; Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Computer Science or related field (preferred) 5+ years of quantitative and qualitative data science/business intelligence with business impact experience2+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table
Experience in code scripting, such as R, Python.Proficiency in designing, managing, and optimizing data using Databricks or other big data tools. Knowledge of fulfillment metrics measuring Productivity, On-time Performance, Capacity, Order Completeness, Order QualityProven track record in iterative product development (Agile)Experience using Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)Skilled in using SQL and ETL development for end-to-end reporting automation.Proficient with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Excellent verbal/written communication skills - ability to articulate insights to, and set expectations with, partners ranging from analysts to executives.Seasoned in creating compelling visualizations and dashboards.Proven track record of devising data-driven solutions for complex business problems, leveraging analytics and BI tools. Experience using ecommerce order data to synthesize actionable recommendations which improve operator efficiency and customer experience
