Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to define and prioritize system requirements and features.Develop and execute a comprehensive IT development strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall business objectives.Oversee the full software development life cycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of commerce-related projects.Drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable and robust e-commerce systems, considering factors such as performance, security, and user experience.Monitor and evaluate existing commerce systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to optimize performance and functionality.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to e-commerce and propose innovative solutions to enhance our commerce systems.Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of third-party systems and services with our commerce platforms.Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes to maintain code integrity and system reliability.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on schedule.Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations related to commerce IT development initiatives.
Requirements:
Normally requires a Bachelor's in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience (7+ years) in software development, with a focus on e-commerce systems and platforms.Strong leadership skills, with previous experience managing and leading teams of IT professionals.Extensive knowledge of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and industry best practices.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, and experience with frameworks like Spring or .NET.In-depth understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with front-end frameworks (Adobe AEM, Magento, React, Angular, or Vue.js).Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization.Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and DevOps principles.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, enterprise-level projects on time and within budget.

Pay Range: $88,005 to $148,578
