The Sr. Manager of Ecommerce Channel Development provides leadership and direction across the Ahold Delhaize omni-channel fulfillment portfolio. This person will increase efficiency, capacity, and sustainability within ADUSA fulfillment models.
This role will function as the Product Owner for their respective fulfillment channel (either Pick from Store or Central Fulfillment) and launch the strategy and improvement of their channel focused on broadening capabilities that meet organizational requirements. As a subject matter expert, this leader will influence and create alignment with senior leadership on large scale initiatives.
Heavy focus on meeting growing demand and ever-evolving customer expectations through enhancing channel capabilities and improving the customer experience. Optimize systems and processes such that fulfillment execution will be the most efficient and productive while adhering to CVP expectations.
Create and drive the vision for their channel that is aligned with the ADUSA omni-channel strategy. Source input from ADUSA Brand e-commerce leads and executive leadership within PDL for the overall development of the channel. They drive meaningful change across all Brands, including alignments across multiple functional areas to achieve channel growth.

Manage a team: Performance reviews, development plans, performance improvement plans, succession planning, cross-team resource planning.Build presentations and tell compelling stories for a senior leadership audience across ADUSA. Collaborate, influence, and mentor cross-functional teams (Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Strategy, PMO, Space Planning/Construction, Product, IT, vendors, and Brand teams) to deliver key pivotal initiatives, improve our customer value proposition.Manage detailed initiatives and a prioritized roadmap that set clear expectations for IT and Business teams, as well as Brand and e-commerce leadership. Interpret and enforce standard legal, compliance, and business rules during program design and development.Responsible for identifying and managing efforts to explore market solutions applicable for Channel Development to create efficiencies and stay relevantCollaborate with Network Strategy team to maintain an up-to-date portfolio of fulfillment channels, with accurate financial parameters, that can be appropriately represented as part of forward-looking network modeling efforts.
The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients
Bachelor's degree in operations Management, Continuous Improvement or Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related fields are very beneficial to this role.10+ years of retail/e-commerce operations or business experience
Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table
Skilled in strategy, organizational change and influencing executive partners. With a financial understanding of retail P&Ls. Experience with the development of IT systems, system enhancements, and product development cycles.Knowledge of in store/e-commerce fulfillment processes and systems, and in a customer-facing business environment.Skilled in store and/or e-commerce fulfillment operations with an intimate knowledge of WMS, OMS, and Picking applications.Stays on top industry trends.
