Broadridge is hiring! We're seeking a Sr. Lead Software Engineer to join our stellar team! You will have the ability to work on our high profile projects while working with cutting edge software.
Work-Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandwork on-site 2x a week.
Job Responsibilities:Work as part of an Agile team to develop and execute projectsResponsible for developing high quality software, collaborating and most importantly mentoring team membersCoordinate with the Director/VP of Software Engineering and other senior engineers to establish consistent software design guidelines and standard methodologies for the software development team.You'll deliver accurate efforts, estimates for assigned development tasks, and review estimates for tasks assigned to others.You'll participate in agile ceremonies - daily stand up meetings, weekly sprint planning and review meetings, team design sessions, code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions.Work with the QA team to help them diagnose possible bugs, and to guide them about testing requirements associated with new code changes made.Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions that meets business needs.Work with the support group to analyze, reproduce and resolve production issues.Qualifications
5+ years of software development work experienceProficient in Python/NodeJS & AWS servicesProficient with REST API development, debugging and testing in an AWS environment4+ years of proven ability within a programming and applications system environment developing AWS components spanning AWS SQS, EC2, S3 bucket, API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, Cognito, and CloudWatchDeep knowledge and at least 3+ years hands-on development in AWS GlueDynamoDB and Aurora DB Experience preferredProficient with DevOps/CI/CD via JenkinsExperience with Source Code Management tools like GITAgile experience would be a plusBS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline#LI-MR1#LI-HYBRID
