Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Support Specialist with expertise in Windows OS, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, basic networking, and VMware. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide escalated technical support for Windows OS-related issues and Office 365 applications.
Manage and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory and Intune for user authentication and device management.
Diagnose and resolve networking issues, collaborating with network specialists as needed.
Utilize VMware for virtualization support and maintenance.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and desktops.
Ensure the proper functioning of Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Implement and manage Azure Active Directory policies for user access and security.
Administer Intune for device management and security compliance.
Manage and maintain VMware virtualized environments.
Mentor and guide junior support specialists, sharing expertise and best practices.
Lead technical training sessions for end-users and support staff.
Collaborate with IT leadership on technology strategy and improvements.
Implement security best practices and policies across Windows, Office 365, and Azure Active Directory.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Build strong relationships with end-users and departments to understand and address their technology needs.
Communicate effectively with non-technical users, providing clear and concise guidance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist with expertise in Windows OS, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, basic networking, and VMware.
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware.
Experience with troubleshooting and supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
