Job Description
A client in Columbus is seeking a IT Production Support Analyst -- Sr. This individual will Lead a team to support users and manage applications. This individual will be required to provide technical guidance to the team to ensure they are aligning to standards and best practices. Additionally, this role will require engagement with incident calls to help guide the team and make ensure both quick resolution of issues and root cause analysis. Critical incidents will require problem team engagement to ensure prevention of future occurrences.
Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years in IT Support role providing technical and production support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills -- if you don't know the answer, how do you find out/ what are your troubleshooting steps? -- probably going to ask this in interview.
- SQL Server knowledge (sever management -- understanding of file explore and how to access things within server)
- Basic Networking knowledge
- Personality is HUGE. Need someone who learns quick, outgoing, takes initiative -- wants someone who speaks up (not heads down or shy/quiet)
- WANTS SOMEONE WHO ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS ON INTERVIEW - Background in development (understanding of code)
- Hardware/server support experience null
