Essential Duties:Instructional designLead projects through the design lifecycle from needs analysis, design anddevelopment; support projects through their implementation and evaluation inpartnership with other members of teamApply adult learning best practices and instructional design principles whendeveloping learning solutionsDevelop and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and subject matterexperts from across the organization to ensure courses effectively mitigaterisk and receive appropriate reviewConsult with and advise project requestors in selecting effective andappropriate instructional strategiesCoordinate training reviews and focus groupsWork from Design Documents and Style Guides to maintain consistency acrosscoursesDevelop courses in Articulate Storyline and Articulate RISEProvide direction to an external content vendor in the development of courses(Articulate Storyline is used by the vendor)Lead/coordinate the yearly review and updating of the Team Quest courselibrary (20+ courses)
Project ManagementDevelop and maintain project plans for courses and full curricula(Smartsheet application is used), which include related communicationand implementation plansProactively identify and mitigate risk to project timelines and quality ofdeliverablesLead weekly status meetings with individual contributors from trainingteams, other lanes of the business, and an external content vendor
Quality Assurance & DocumentationProofread course storyboards and compliance communications for consistency instyle, language and instructional soundnessCreate, deploy, and compile training feedback logs in SharePointMaintain up-to-date versions of course storyboards for inclusion in governmentreportsReview training courses for functionality and quality using specific testingrolesCreate, deploy, and compile training feedback logs in SharePointMaintain up-to-date versions of course storyboards for inclusion in governmentreportsReview training courses for functionality and quality using specific testingrolesOtherAttend additional team meetings, phone conferences, and training as neededAssist in technical and physical setup of instructor-led trainings anddepartmental meetingsKnow, understand, and follow DaVita teammate guidelines, employmentpolicies, and department or company proceduresSupport other departmental or team initiatives as neededDevelop subject matter expertise in health care compliance
Requirements:
Project management experience (including the ability to create project plansand timelines, manage multiple programs simultaneously, and completeassignments in a timely manner)
Ability to communicate via multiple channels (influence, present data)with a variety of stakeholders.
Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate RISE and Articulate Review 360
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, MSWord
Ability to balance priorities related to multiple overlapping projectsStrong editing/proofreading skills
Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand material
Demonstrated expertise in: Adult learning theory/Knowles theory ofandragogy, Storyboarding, Alignment of learning objectives,instructional strategies, and delivery methods
Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following: Needs analysis;learner analysis; Formative, summative, and/or confirmative assessments
Comprehensive knowledge and proven application adult learning best practicesand instructional design principles in multi-modal instruction such aseLearning, instructor-based trainings and performance support resources(e.g., job aids)
Experience working with health care and/or legal subject matter
