Description
The Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract provides Information Technology (IT) Operations and Maintenance (Sustainment), network modernization, and migration services for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to deliver a single digital enterprise that establishes a modern infrastructure foundation and unified architecture required to deliver cohesive combat support capabilities to the warfighter.
Clearance Requirement: Secret
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and maintain features and iteratively deploy services using Infoblox’s cloud-based architecture.
Recommend ways to improve system reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Stay up to date on key trends, especially in the area of Cloud Platforms and networking solutions.
Investigating and diagnosing of incidents and problems relating to DDI (Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and related services.
Working with the Government lead and other service areas’ Architecture, Engineering & Operations leads and technical specialists, as well as professional services and staff from vendors to implement the plan to deliver a strategic DDI platform and migrate all in-scope services from existing platforms.
Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision.
Anticipating potential problems and acting to minimize the impact they may have on the project or unit.
Ability to collaborate with different technology towers to achieve common goals.
Defining the capacity and performance standards, metrics and thresholds and helping build the instrumentation to effectively manage the environment.
prepare and validate equipment configurations for new installations, troubleshoot network issues, and assess the overall health of the Infoblox infrastructure.
Implementation, integration, and migration planning
Lead and provide technical oversight of troubleshooting calls for both a compute issues and network issues as it relates to compute.
Working knowledge of the DoD DISA compute and infrastructure environment.
Deployment and maintenance of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Experience with IT Enterprise Operations; working knowledge of Network, Systems/Compute, and User Support Operations.
Demonstrated success in multi-tasking, self-assigning work, and functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
