The Sr. HR Generalist supports the division in all areas of HR: Employee Relations, Policy Implementation, Recruitment, Worker's Compensation/Safety and Employment Law Compliance.Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited ToWork with employees, managers and supervisors on employee relations issues including employee counseling, documentation and investigations.Manage division workers comp claims from date of injury to full release; communicate with injured worker, manager, supervisors and clinics on return to work options.Sit on the safety committee, assist division leadership roll out safety inititaivesResponsible for all OSHA reporting and complianceHR Dashboard Reporting, people analytics, general reporting, workers comps, LOA'sSupports HR Manager with New Supervisor Training and other employee trainings including, state compliance trainings, HRIS systems, documentation and performance management.Assist employees with questions regarding company benefit plans, help corporate HR collect enrollment forms and annual open enrollments.Responsible for LOA administration, including tracking days away from work, processing Federal and State FMLA requestsCommunicating with employees and physicians on ADA/LOA related issuesCounsel employees their rights and responsbiliities as it relates to LOAOrganizing employee appreciation events at the division level through the help of a committee and/or Sr. leadershipEmployee file complianceQualificationsRequired Skills and Experience3-5 years of HR Generalist experienceAbility to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.Must have experience in addressing and following up on employee relations investigations.Platform experience with HRIS, talent management system, background check, and UAMust be flexible and able to prioritize workflow to complete all tasks, excellent time management.Ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects.Must be attentive to detail, and with strong problem-solving skills.Tact, above average communication skills, ability to work effectively with both employees and managers.Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants, employees, and external customers.Preferred Skills
