Sr Financial (Reporting) Analyst

Responsibilities
* Data Mapping
* Consolidating & Reporting exp
* Perform analysis on Fixed and Variable Costs, Production and Distribution functional reporting
* Analysis on Lines of Business details for Sales, MC, GP, EBIT, EBITDA
* Preparation/review of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packages (US GAAP & IFRS) including commentary.
* Perform month end closing activities including the review of operating company and divisional submissions.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and notes disclosures.
* Assisting with Budgeting, forecasting, planning process.
* Conduct routine communication with business unit leaders and key partners relating to accounting, financial close, issues and deliverables, and other relevant financial matters.
* Lead the implementation of accounting policy changes in ERP and other reporting systems.
* Provide accounting policy expertise and training to various stakeholders (Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations etc.).
* Research and prepare technical accounting memos.
* Prepare for and respond to internal and external audit requests.
* Perform and evidence SOX controls as required.
* Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior management.
* Support requests related to presentation materials for management and executive level meetings.
* Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity that optimizes data efficiency and quality.
* Ad hoc projects as needed.
Skills and Requirements
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
* CPA required. --> maybe more of a plus?
* 3+ Years of consolidating & reporting experience.
* 3+ Years of Data Mapping experience
* Project management experience in an audit context.
* Understanding of accounting within the manufacturing and/or construction industry would be an asset.

* Strong communication and influence skills are critical to support business in interpreting accounting treatment across the company.
* Systems knowledge and interest are important to effectively utilize/leverage the financial systems in the performance of the role.

* Excellent analytical skills with an independent ability to recognize problems/issues and propose resolutions.
* Strong team player of excellent character, able to contribute positively while striving to meet strict deadlines.
* Effective written and oral communication skills to be able to communicate, document and train.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work independently. Plusses:
* SAP > HFM experience
* SFA Experience
* Oracle EPM experience
FCCS / PBCS experience null
