TE Connectivity has a Sr Field Application Engineer position available in the Louisville area within the Appliances business unit. This position will have primary sales and field engineering responsibility for large global Appliance OEMs in the Kentucky, Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama markets.
TE Connectivity's Field Application Engineering Teams work intimately with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. They identify new applications, requirement modifications, and enhancements to meet customer specifications and conduct on-site installation and service of products, and are responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle for potential application of company products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand; preparing detailed product specifications and technical marketing support; ensuring high quality and timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support. They also approve the operational quality of systems and equipment. This is a Remote position however the ideal candidate will sit in the Greater Louisville, KY area.

What your background should look like:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Preferred) or Business.3-5 years of working experience at Appliance/Industrial OEMs or related contract manufacturers.Excellent communication skills; verbal and writtenProficient in common software tools (Salesforce.com, Excel, Powerpoint etc.) Application experience in appliances, wire harnesses, connectors, relays, and/or sensors is a plusMust live in Greater Louisville area

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $102,560 - $153,840 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
