PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $162,600-$198,600 annually. The full Pay Range is $126,000-$235,100 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. What You'll Do :
Strategic Blueprinting: You'll architect and refine the technological blueprints that align our services with the organization's mission and objectives. Your role involves balancing both technical and non-technical factors, ensuring our technology services create real business value.
Roadmap Development: Collaborate with various teams to develop and share a technology roadmap, aligning it with the business's vision. Your foresight in applying technological innovations will solve customer needs innovatively.
Standard Setting: Establish and uphold architectural standards and processes, guiding the organization towards strategic goals.
Mentorship and Leadership: Offer your expertise and mentorship to technical teams across projects, articulating the value of architecture and technology in simple terms.
Solution Crafting: Produce and implement blueprints for business solutions, ensuring they support both technology and business roadmaps.
Industry Analysis: Keep an eye on the evolving solution landscape, identifying opportunities for enhancing our architecture and driving discussions on improving business value.
Peer Mentoring: Share your knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices with your colleagues, shaping the future of our tech landscape.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least seven years of experience in technology architecture, including managing multiple complex solutions.
A minimum of five years in a project leadership role.
Experience with modern technologies, supplier capabilities, and large infrastructure/systems.
Experience with modern technology service architecture, security, and risk management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience in large organizations and relationship building.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
Familiarity with Microsoft infrastructure and solutions in various environments.
Certification in LEAN, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL principles, with practical implementation experience.
Proficient communication skills for effective customer service.
Availability for full-time hours, with additional time as needed.
