We are seeking a talented and motivated Avionics Systems Senior Engineer to join our Avionics team. The primary responsibility will be supporting avionics systems and hardware design. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and integrating avionics and electrical systems into a spacecraft or aircraft.
Responsibilities
Design, integration, and testing of avionics and electrical systems
Work with software and hardware engineers, and subcontractors to define requirements and interfaces for custom avionics
Plan, execute, and report on vehicle ground and flight testing
Required Skills and Experience:
B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university
8 or more years of relevant experience in aerospace or similar field
Experience with embedded systems hardware and software
Experience with spacecraft or aircraft avionics system design, component selection, and integration.
Experience with PCB design, FPGA, microcontrollers, and real-time systems
Experience with digital communication protocols such as RS232, RS422, RS485, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, CAN
Hands-on avionics and/or software experience with aerospace or related systems
Strong grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals
Understanding of software engineering fundamentals

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $105,700.00–$161,200.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
