As a Sr. Director, Security Architecture Engineering here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the security architecture and engineering function within the company. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the security architecture and engineering teams. The Sr. Director of Security Architecture Engineering will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure the implementation of robust security measures, and achieve business objectives.
This person will need to be based in the US and may operate on a remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the security architecture and engineering function
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of security architecture and engineering projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives
Ensure adherence to security best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements
Manage and optimize security architecture and engineering resources, budgets, and timelines
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Lead and develop a high-performing security architecture and engineering team
Drive SDLC practices across the company
Develop and deploy cloud security automation practices to secure all hosted platforms.
Manage MSSP for Pen Testing services to proactively ensure all compliance needs are met.
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
10+ years of experience in security architecture and engineering roles
Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Strong technical expertise in security architecture and engineering
Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
