  The Senior Director of US Marketing of US RTDs at Beam Suntory will be a key leader in shaping the portfolio and marketing strategies that will establish Beam Suntory as the leader in the US RTD market and shape how Americans drink.

  Reporting directly into the Managing Director of US RTDs, the Senior Director will be the P&L owner for the US RTD Portfolio, including On the Rocks, Suntory's -196, which together will account for nearly 50% of growth for the North American P&L. The person will be integral leader in building Beam Suntory's $1 Billion ambition in US RTDs.

  This role will act as the head of marketing for the US RTD organization, creating the vision and thought leadership for the US RTD portfolio, and building marketing capabilities that propel brands into rapid growth. This person will lead team of marketing directors accountable for building powerful, magnetic brands from foundation to execution. This role will have high exposure to senior leadership, serving as the marketing liaison for Suntory's Global RTD organization and the North American Leadership Executive team.

   Location: Based out of New York or Chicago, US

  Role Responsibilities Lead the portfolio and brand strategies for the US RTD spirits portfolio, including 3-year strategic planning, brand growth plans and channel planning. Lead development, deployment, and financial delivery of Annual Operating Plan across the US RTD portfolio Manage brand P&Ls, balancing in-year growth with long term value, aligning brand investment (BI) plans against priority jobs to be done and assessing BI effectiveness. Build a team who will powerful brands end to end - including brand foundations, positioning visual ID development, communications, content, CRM, experiential, media strategy, sponsorships, and retail programming. Set the marketing planning & communication processes for the US RTD organization ensuring clear and timely communication and strong connectivity to x-functional partners, US commercial, field marketing and the RTD Global team. Serve as brand lead for sales & operations planning (S&OP) process, including forecasting, base liquid allocations and inventory management. Embed 'plan do check act' best practices, leveraging data and insights to set KPIs and to elevate sales and marketing planning & sales execution. Set the infrastructure and cadence for data capture, analytics and insights that enables rapid response to market and consumer shifts. Build the ecosystem that enables team to create and execute powerful marketing platforms, including a tight network of agencies, x-functionals and thought partners. Build 'GEMBA' culture of high market and consumer connectivity. Partner with innovation team to build platform pipelines. Lead planning and deployment of innovation, linking back innovation strategy to overall brand strategy and growth plans. Partner with global RTD organization to align and optimize approach asset development and marketing activities. Manage a team of more than 9+ marketers, including 3 direct reports. Qualifications 12+ years consumer marketing experience, consumer-packaged goods preferred. MBA preferred Self-starter with an ability to deal with ambiguity in a new strategic role within the organization. Strong team leader and deep collaborator: experience building and developing high-performing teams, including x-functional partners. Track record of building, launching and rapidly expanding emerging brands. Demonstrated experience in working across and up, within the organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers, commercial and executive leadership. Proven ability to execute flawlessly on brand/marketing projects that align with brand strategies. Experience managing brand P&Ls, who brings financial acumen and turns data and insights into compelling growth strategies and execution plans. Experience with beverage alcohol industry and/or three-tiered distribution system a plus (soft drinks, beer, and other wholesale-distributed products) Strong communication skills in writing, meetings, and presentations The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $196,000 to $245,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
