JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for leading shaping, and providing strategic solutions to the Corporate Facilities function in support of Charter's overall mission and goals. Responsible for developing, directing and implementing building and property maintenance and operational plans and strategies to support a holistic end-to-end occupancy experience for Charter Communication employees and visitors across a large, highly complex and diverse Corporate managed portfolio. This role serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner that leads and supports a comprehensive service delivery practice in partnership with other Corporate Services team members. Focuses on the day-to-day integrated facilities management practices as well as operational reliability and effectiveness of property services and building operating systems - inclusive of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety systems and more. Develops an effective leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports to drive a high performance culture that delivers exceptional outcomes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of robust facilities operational strategies related to the operation and maintenance of corporate locations with the primary focus on customer experience, relevant function, reliability and cost optimization - within their market and often across multiple marketsResponsible for forecasting, planning, and executing an effective property reinvestment strategy to ensure that properties continue to perform as intended, meet business requirements, are safe and reliable and maintain their valueLead and support the implementation of a best-in-class facilities management practice that delivers an optimized and efficient property operations outcome across their market and often across multiple Corporate managed properties and markets by following established and disciplined real estate performance management principlesResponsible for developing and managing expense and capital budgets in a manner that optimizes expenditures, follows a Total Cost of Occupancy methodology and achieves expected resultsDevelop and implement life safety/emergency preparedness program including coordination with key operational groupsCollaborate with Corporate Physical Security, Portfolio Planning, EH&S, other Corporate Services teams, Technology and other internal Charter business partners in the development and delivery of a comprehensive occupancy experienceCollaborate with Portfolio Planning and other Corporate Services leaders on complex, local and potentially multiple market portfolio optimization efforts as well as delivers comprehensive, efficient and best-in-class real estate occupancy and operational experiences and solutionsDevelop positive relationships with internal leaders and external service providers with focus on delivering targeted results that improve the overall occupancy experience, operating efficiency, and site reliabilityOften collaborate with the Transactions and Portfolio Planning teams to support business objectives across multiple markets
Manage, lead, train and develop internal resources in a direct and matrixed reporting relationship. Monitor team performance and productivity and provide frequent and relevant feedback toward improvementIdentify areas of team and group improvement and build, support and implement strategies to optimize the mission of a Facilities Management Center of Excellence platformDevelop, utilize and apply KPIs and performance metrics through benchmarking and best practices locally and often across multiple properties
Lead and participate in sourcing strategies and real estate operational best practice development locally and across the entire Charter real estate portfolio
Ensure consistency of experience, processes and tools across their managed portfolio and in balance with other Corporate managed portfoliosPerform other duties as assigned

Certifications and/or Licenses
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards
Property management designation such as RPA or CPM or equivalent desired
Education
Bachelor's degree or, relevant work experience of 12 years or more in cross functional commercial real estate disciplines
