　　This role is for a Senior Software Developer that will operate as a member on one of the core teams of specialists that are responsible for enabling new features and optimizing strategic solutions within TransUnion's Batch Platform.

　　As a contributing member on one of our agile development teams, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build systems that are taking TransUnion to the next level. Success in this role requires a blend of skills in backend and front-end development, CI/CD, Agile methodology, and/or working in a large onshore/offshore model.

　　What You'll Bring:

　　How You'll Contribute &bull Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and implementation approaches for addressing demand and challenges &bull Deploy and implement features for our high volume, low latency core online environment; expertise will full stack knowledge including hardware, software, end-user tools and other data services &bull Create tools and services enabling end-user productivity and system integrations &bull Partner with business resources to troubleshoot issues, manage capacity, and plan for the optimization and expansion of environments &bull Maintain and ensure availability and quality of the application team &bull Act as internal subject matter expert for the Batch Platform. What You'll Bring &bull Six or more years of hands-on experience in a software development profession &bull At least three years of experience directly leading application support initiative &bull Proficiency working in a Linux-based environment, including shell scripting and basic system administration &bull Experience with High-Volume, Low Latency transaction system &bull Experience with Relational Databases and SQL programming &bull Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems &bull Strong written and verbal communication skills &bull Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience &bull At least six years of software engineering experience with Java/J2EE and UI technologies &bull 4+ years of experience in front end development software development with a solid grasp of web development processes and procedures in the building of web applications and the consuming of web services. &bull Experience writing and troubleshooting JavaScript &bull Expertise in developing using HMTL5 and CSS3 &bull Knowledge of JQuery, Agile methodology, and experience with code repository such as SVN and Git, in a team environment &bull Experience with one or more of the following: MVC Framework, Hibernate, Spring (Spring Boot, Dependency Injection), Maven &bull Experience with unit/integration testing (Java Junit/TestNG, BDD) &bull Familiarity with the code review processes and defect management &bull Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and should be able to function independently as a team member &bull
