Key Job responsibilities include:
Cross Functional global collaboration with teams across Corporate Security and Exeutive Protection. Apply data analytics concepts to GCS&EP data and formulate strategy to produce data driven solutions for complex business requirements for GCS&EP workflowFormulating ideas for automation and metrics development for efficiencies and forecastingAbility to grasp new concepts and collaborate across different teams/business units in order to drive changeAbility to quickly and accurately condense robust and complex data from various sources into meaningful information to drive strategic change across different portfoliosBasic familiarity with preparing documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and raising of risk related issues to management.Ability to ' tell the story' and recommendations succinctly based on data analytics and metrics in a business friendly fashion to senior executive audience
Position will support operational excellence efforts including implementing technology initiatives, redesigning/simplifying team processes, evaluating existing models/routines, and/or the resolution of audit findings. The role will help drive the continued development, design, and standardization of global practices and routines. The Sr. Data Reporting Specialist will be key in driving our data driven strategy leading to faster turnaround and an improved customer experience.
Required Skills:
8+ years of Data extraction, validation, and manipulation leveraging different servers (SQL, DB2, Oracle, Teradata) experienceCreation of ad hoc analytical metrics using visualization tools and dashboards (i.e. Tableau, SSRS)Strong analytical and problem solving skills as demonstrated by 3+ years of experienceAptitude to adjust to different coding languages (i.e. T-SQL, SAS, Python)Highly proficient with MS Office suite with an emphasis on data manipulation/reporting.Experience building/maintaining SharePoint app farm environments, building/maintaining Access Databases, and/or complex Excel formula driven reports (Macros, Visual Basic experience)Strong communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skillsOrganization skills, including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and meet deadlinesNaturally curious individual with the ability to quickly become the authority in the various data and systems used by the team
