This is a contingent position based upon customer approval.
Position Details and Responsibilities
SkyePoint Decisions is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This person will help manage day-to-day technical activities for more junior team members. They will also be working with Power BI tools for the assessment and analysis of data, as well as Python.
Location: This person must be able to go to customer location in Washington DC, 1 to 3 days/week depending on need.
Identify requirements and advise on use cases within the State Department’s Predictive Analytics environmentLeverage tools such as TableauCoding using PhytonLeverage understanding of SQL for performing data pullsProvide data collection, assessment and process supportAssist in the enhancement/enrichment of dataDevelop analytics to support fraud detection across the full spectrum of services
Qualifications
B.S. and a minimum of 6 years of experience is required. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. MS or certification in a related business field may be substituted for one year of experience.
Active Secret Clearance Required, ability to obtain Top SecretMust be able to work a hybrid schedule.Progressive experience in leading projects, demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks, and capability to manage multi-task projects of high complexity for Federal government clients.Experience with Data Management and Analysis, Data Visualization, CommunicationsExperience coding in PythonRequired Technologies: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Access, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Word, and PythonData management and data analysisStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholdersWorking knowledge and experience with analysis and modeling using data analytics toolsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail, thoroughness, quality, and customer service orientationExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience at all levels of the organizationU.S. Citizenship is required. Cyber Risk Threat and Vulnerability Remediation KnowledgeKnowledge and/or experience implementing Cyber Risk Management Framework for Information Systems and Organizations (NIST 800-37 rev 2)SAS and Microsoft Power BI are a plus
