We are looking for:Senior Cost Engineer
Senior Cost Engineers lead the designing and development of systems of control to support an integrated approach to the management of a project/program. Senior Cost Engineers provide a high level of project expertise that make them a key input to project/program decision making. Large understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within area of responsibility. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. This position will be supporting projects within Electric Distribution.

Firm understanding of Project SchedulesAbility to develop integrated cost/schedule EVM systems in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersFirm understanding of contract language and contract typesFirm understanding of Project Management principles (Risk, Change, Contracting, Cost, Schedule, Scope, and Integration)Capable of applying problem solving principles to resolve issues and remove barriers to workMicrosoft Office SuiteWritten/Verbal communication skillsHighly organized and capable of handling large amounts of data

In this role, you will:
Collection and analysis of complex cost data in order to produce annual and overall project/program forecastsLead the coordination with the Project Team, Internal and External Stakeholders as needed to support the projectAssembling, evaluating, and communicating highly advanced booking data on a monthly basisEffectively communicate monthly, annual, and overall project/program variance explanationsSupports the Long-Term Financial Planning and complex Rate Case processes, as requiredSupport the corporate Change Log Request processLead project/program adherence to EPM Project Lifecycle Processes that impact Cost ControlsComplex Data Entry/Tracking/ReportingLeads the objective systems to monitor and control project/program costs through the full project life cycleSupports the project/program formal risk and change management processes, and utilizes complex data in forecast developmentOther non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary
