  -Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration from award to contract closeout;

  -Provide contract and proposal statuses to Company leadership;

  -Establish business relationships and integrate with internal Customers, external Customers, and Company functional area coworkers supporting similar contracts and proposal efforts;

  -Identify, interpret, review, redline, create, and provide guidance on terms and conditions and all contract/proposal documents;

  -Draft and submit contract and proposal letters;

  -Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations;

  -Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives.;

  -Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance;

  -Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions;

  -Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance;

  -Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations;

  -May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company;

  -Prioritize contract management tasks as required;

  -Optimize tools, standards, policies, and procedures toward fulfillment of contract obligations;

  -Organize and manage contract documents; and

  -Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.

  Basic Qualifications:

  -Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level;

  -Understanding of commercial and United States Government contracts;

  -Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills;

  -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; and

  -Advanced verbal, writing, and business-related skills.

  Desired Skills:

  -Previous experience negotiating, administrating, and management commercial and United States Government contracts;

  -Basic understanding of FAR/DFARS;

  -Previous experience reviewing, revising, and drafting contractual terms and conditions;

  -Customer service and relationship building skills; and

  -Budget and financial management.

  Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  Clearance Level: Secret

  Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

  Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

  Pay Rate:

  The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

  Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

  (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

  This position is incentive plan eligible.

  Pay Rate:

  The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
