SENIOR COMMERCIAL LOAN OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR
Job Overview: The position of the Senior Commercial Loan Operations Administrator is responsible for oversight of the processing, documentation and closing of loans for the Bank. This role will also ensure that loan processing, documentation, and closing activities are completed in compliance with applicable government regulations and Bank policy. This position coordinates, as necessary, with Bank's loan officers, loan assistants, underwriters, appraisers, brokers, applicants, attorneys, and others regarding loan closings. This position provides leadership, training, and supervision to loan operations staff, and ensures timely and quality customer service.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
Overseeing commercial loan processing, documentation, and closing for the Bank ensuring that the lending process is completed timely in compliance with applicable government regulations and Bank policy.
Coordinating, as necessary, with Bank's loan officers, loan assistants, underwriters, appraisers, brokers, applicants, attorneys, and others regarding commercial loan closings.
Providing leadership, training, and supervision to loan processing staff to ensure timely and quality customer service while acting as liaison between loan administration staff to ensure quality submission of loan requests.
Ensuring that all new loans and modifications of existing loans are assigned upon receipt, organizing workflow, delegating assignments, and conducting and coordinating necessary training for loan processing staff and loan assistants.
Overseeing loan closings to ensure that loan approvals contain all the necessary information and that all information has been verified and is in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations with the Bank's lending policies and procedures.
Creating detailed and accurate operational reports for management related to all activities and status of loan processing.
Assisting with completeness of HMDA data and reporting.
Assisting with development, maintenance, and implementation of commercial loan policies and procedures.
Providing and/or receiving information and discussing or resolving problems with loan administration staff.
Organizing and processing complex commercial loan/real estate transactions, problems or inquiries.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the position include:
A bachelor’s degree in a business related field (may be waived in lieu of experience).
Advanced computer, spreadsheet, and word processing skills.
The ability to analyze and interpret data in order to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Flexible and/or late hours.
