Job Description The Senior Manager of VCA will be based in Taipei and leading significant client engagements and project delivery. Potential projects diverse as payment strategy, customer experience, product/ marketing strategy, and risk management. This will require your full interactions with external collaborators, and internal cross-functional teams including the business development, merchant service and acquirer, product and marketing to craft engagement approach and design project scope to scale Visa’s reach and impact in the market.
Projects you will be a part of:
Together with the team, we will shape VCA practices in identifying potential areas of strategy innovations and operational optimization, thereby defining project scope and revenue opportunity to sell in client projects. You will exercise problem solving and consulting skills to:
Build market intelligence by conducting industry research and distilling insights from Visa global transaction data to recommend solutions relevant to client and local context.Articulate digital payment strategy by undertaking macro and micro environmental analysis of regulatory aspects and customer needs to explore white space for future growth.Distill clear insights from customer segmentation to deliver product-market fit strategy, as well as seizing emerging alternative payment trends for product innovations.Collaborate with Visa SMEs of risk management to provide recommendations and approaches to strengthen transaction safety in fast-growing areas such as e-commerce, gaming and entertainment. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Essential specific skill-set and experience required:
• Language skills – strong English and Mandarin Chinese, written and verbal skills.
• Minimum 8-12 years’ experience in strategy consulting, project management or technology consulting.
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills. Experienced in using analytics to drive strategies and generate insights from data.
• Strong team oriented, collaborative and flexible to work in matrixed organization.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
• Strong detail orientation, ensuring the highest level of quality in reports and data analysis.
• Willingness to travel by business requests.
Experience in the following areas will be well regarded:
• Financial services and payment.
• Data analytics in marketing and risk solutions.
• An understanding of statistical analysis, modeling, scoring schemes, etc.
