Job Description
General understanding of the fundamentals of Civil Engineering
Ability to work well with other engineers, designers and staff in the preparation of subdivision, major utility and site development plans.
Familiarity with storm hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, FlowMaster and StormCAD is preferred but not required.
Knowledgeable in hydraulics for water and wastewater design
Potential once a month travel to West Texas - Midland, TX area on project sites
Leading designers and other PMs and Engineers through the full scope of multiple projects at one time.
Skills and Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited school
Professional Engineering (PE) License in Texas
7-10 years of experience with water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure design and/or project experience.
Experience working on and leading Land and Site Development projects.
Experience doing this type of work in Texas Austin/Central Texas preferably.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Valid driver's license
Ability to drive a full size pick-up truck
Ability to walk and stand at construction site for extended periods of time (4 hrs+)
Ability to lift 50 pounds Previous Project Management experience preferred.
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred but not required.
A doer, someone who can manage multiple projects and multiple designers and engineers at one time.
A leader who can jump right in and where many hats working at a small firm.
Prefer candidates living in Central Texas with experience in these disciplines in the Central Texas area.
Additional experience with site development/ land development preferred.
Someone who can come in and split the project load with the other Sr. PM/office leader. null
