Job Description Primary Function of Position:

The Analyst - Controlling is responsible for defining the vision and roadmap, leading the prioritization of initiatives and overseeing the solution architecture for IT applications supporting the Source to Manufacture, Service Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Controlling, and Financial Planning & Analysis related business processes for make to stock, make to order, reconstruct to order, project accounting for R&D / NPI and field service business scenarios. The right candidate for this role will have significant experience aligning desired business outcomes to a roadmap of IT initiatives and communicating the plan and the achievement of those outcomes to business and IT management. To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to utilize his / her deep understanding of Finance processes and systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with senior business stakeholders to assess the maturity, criticality, and state of business capabilities in Source to Manufacture, Service Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Controlling, and Financial Planning & Analysis business processes for make to stock, make to order, reconstruct to order, project accounting for R&D / NPI and field service business scenarios.Assess the use of existing and emerging technologies in supporting the area’s objectives.Develop a long-term business application roadmap that addresses end-to-end business capability needs with input from industry best practices.Lead the requirements definition and solution design for the major initiatives in the roadmap.Oversee the design of all system changes in the area, ensuring we implement scalable, future-proof solutions.Lead the prioritization of projects and enhancements in the area.Work in partnership with the business to create business cases and define ROI for major initiatives.Lead / participate in vendor and application evaluations to select the appropriate technology to support business needs.Collaborate with IT delivery teams by providing architectural guidance to ensure successful implementations.Collaborate with the Enterprise Analytics team in designing and developing insights capability for Finance.Engage with system and process experts to perform thorough impact analysis to all connected systems with the big picture in mind.Prepare executive level presentations and proposals as well as detailed requirement and design documentation.Proactively seek out new system features and capabilities to address Finance challenges.Key applications / technology included in scope: SAP S/4 Finance, SAP S/4 Controlling (all sub modules including margin analysis, product costing and material ledger), SAP Project Systems, and integrations with Coupa, iValua, Anaplan, and HyperionModel, analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve business processes and applications in the Finance area.Collaborate, coach and mentor business and applications teams located across the globe and in the various time zones.Assist the Sr. Manager, Finance Applications in documenting, implementing, and adhering to standards, internal controls and processes for the Applications team (including Project Management Office standards and processes)Ensure internal controls are followed and report exceptions immediately.Remain at the forefront of industry practices and application development.Work closely with onsite team, offshore team, managers, and executives to ensure the release of high-quality solutions.Follow the Intuitive change management process. Analyze impact of changes to the corporate application landscapeAct as Senior BA and guide & mentor the team members in providing best solutions and do peer review and advice on areas of improvement. Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology (master’s degree preferred)Minimum 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting business applications for Finance & controlling requirements for make to stock, make to order, reconstruct to order, project accounting for R&D / NPI and field service business scenarios.Past experience working within relevant application platforms in an Analyst roleAbility to influence business teams, including senior executive management, in the selection and design of technology solutions as well as implementation and support approaches.Experience and expertise with SAP S/4 Finance, SAP S/4 Controlling (all sub modules including margin analysis, product costing and material ledger), SAP Project Systems, and integrations with Coupa, iValua, Anaplan, and Hyperion is required.Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and related business processesSuccessful track record in working on cross-functional, cross-team projects.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English,Strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.Strong project and program management and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. #LI-Hybrid
