Job Description
The Consumer Bank Marketing Technology group is seeking a results-oriented team player with experience in using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar marketing automation tools to join Capital One as a Sr. Associate. This role will be responsible for collaborating with Bank marketing and product teams to design, build, and launch campaigns that address the ever changing needs of the business while capitalizing on the full features and benefits of SFMC’s capabilities. With sound working knowledge of journey building and campaign execution, the position requires a dynamic and tech-savvy marketing communicator. This person will be expected to interface directly with internal Marketing users and leaders to understand their needs and ensure that the customer journeys built within SFMC meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities
Enable design, configuration, and execution of all multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, display, direct mail, digital, SMS, and social channels in a well-managed way
Help define platform metrics and analyze system health with a focus on data, daily automations, and customer journey performance
Work with our engineering partners to enable new integrations and to drive open issues to closure
Partner with marketing end-users to ensure best practices are understood and leveraged as part of journey design
Gather requirements by following Scrum methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years experience with marketing automation & orchestration tools (Marketo, Eloqua, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience with SQL and AmpScript
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, Automation Studio, and Advertising Studio
Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $99,500 - $113,600 for Sr. Associate, Marketing
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
