Broadridge is growing! We are seeking an operations associate to join our Fed Settlements team. In this position, you will focus on the day-to-day resolution of complex issues and execution of US securities settlements transactions. You will work on trade settlement exceptions and research and resolve issues as they arise. This is a highly visible role that will add depth and knowledge to the group.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities:Support Fedwire settlement functions for US Treasury, Agency, and Mortgage Back Securities (MBS).Utilize world class Broadridge tools such as BEES, Impact, and BPS to maintain client books and records and reporting.Work on trade settlement exceptions by working closely with the team and outside counterparts to resolve timely and accurately, including trade issues.Perform and accurately complete reconciliation trade flow activities between multiple systems.Adhere to all client-related Detailed Function Lists and Service Level Agreements.Address daily operational escalations from clients as a result of system or human error and resolve them in a timely manner. Communicate the issue that occurred and plan of action to avoid future occurrences.Limit market exposure for clients by monitoring unsettled trades and trades with high mark to market sensitivity.Research, resolve, and report all discrepancies, including monitoring settlement queues in multiple systems.Follow all procedures maintaining firms stated internal controls and regulatory compliance.Track metrics to ensure activity is submitted timely and accurately.Handle Subject Matter Expert (SME) inquires and escalations as needed or assigned.Participate in Managed Services initiatives, including but not limited to, identifying process improvement opportunities with Robotic Process Automation (RPA).Handles complex internal and external customer inquiries and is able to resolve efficiently.Requirements:Working knowledge of BONY BDC, BONY Accessedge, Impact, BPS, and RTTMWorking knowledge of settlements.College Degree or relevant experience4+ years of experienceEffectively communicate and problem solve.Possess a strong attention to detailHas the ability to handle complex business transactions independentlyBroadridge associates helped us envision our Connected Workplace - a work model that allows associates around the globe, dependent upon their role responsibilities, to take advantage of the benefits of both on-site and off-site work to support our clients, one another, and the communities where we live and work.
