Summary
Based in Beijing or Shenzhen, China, the Senior Analyst for Supply Chain Compliance Audit will play a pivotal role as a direct report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Compliance & IP Enforcement at Dolby Laboratories. This integral role encompasses responsibilities focused on supporting both the Implementation Licensee audit and Limited Scope System Licensee audit, and verification efforts to ensure that Dolby Laboratories receives fair compensation for its licensed intellectual property. The Senior Associate will engage in various tasks, including audit documentation preparation, creation of inspection packages, comprehensive background research, data analysis, collaboration with third-party auditors, negotiation and settlement, and contributing to special projects.
Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development, implementation, and execution of Dolby's supply chain compliance audit programs, including both Implementation Licensee audit and Limited Scope System Licensee audit Thoroughly review and prepare essential documentation for new audit projects. Conduct in-depth research on business and industry trends, providing contextual insights into audit targets. Identify relevant product samples for meticulous testing and specification verification. Conduct comprehensive research on supply chain stakeholders in accordance with established guidelines. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, create detailed documentation and analyses pertinent to audit negotiations and settlements. Forge close collaborations with regional teams, providing analytical support to track unlicensed supply chain issues. Perform ad-hoc analyses to fulfill requests from third-party auditors. Provide support for litigation activities as required. Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's/MBA degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field. Proficient in data querying, mining, and analysis techniques. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and related functions. Possess a minimum of two to three years of relevant audit/data analytics experience, preferably with exposure to big 4 accounting firms. Demonstrated aptitude for effective communication, including written, oral, and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. Self-motivated and intuitive individual with exceptional organizational abilities, consistently meeting deadlines. Capable of thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, effectively contributing to shared goals. Exemplifies a high degree of attention to detail in all tasks.
