  COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

  The pay range provided is not indicative of Sysco's actual pay range but is merely algorithmic and provided for generalized comparison. Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors

  This position is primarily responsible for various forms of external and internal reporting including the preparation of the financial statements for a large complex international company. Areas of external financial reporting include SEC reporting (including XBRL), governmental reporting, and benefit plan reporting. Areas of internal financial reporting include materials for audit and disclosure committees and financial statement analysis supplied to executive management.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings (including Parent company and subsidiaries) and investor communications, including SEC filings such as 8-Ks, 10-Qs and 10-ks (and associated XBRL requirements), proxy statements, statutory financial statements, earnings releases, earnings presentations, earning call scripts, and investor conference materials

  Prepare the financial statements, footnote disclosures, and management discussion and analyses while maintaining complete tie-out documentations under the Company's SOX controls

  Assist in the preparation of portions of the GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists

  Perform ad hoc disclosure benchmarking research of peer group companies

  Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the annual and quarterly SEC reporting processes

  Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline processes

  Establish active and effective communication with various groups

  Perform and monitor Sarbanes-Oxley controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance

  Required Minimum Education/Experience:

  Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

  Minimum at least 3 years of work experience in a corporate setting.

  Public Accounting Experience

  Big 4 experience is highly desired

  CPA is a plus

  Abilities and Skills:

  Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ability to research accounting literature, establish a position and develop procedure for implementation

  Advanced Microsoft excel skills

  Experience with Workiva and BPC is a plus

  High business acumen with strong accounting background

  Self-starter, high motivated to improve business processes

  Works productively across the enterprise and partners with others to achieve shared goals

  Speaks and acts with complete honesty and trustworthiness

  This position can be performed from the corporate facility.

  Must be able to do limited travel to Sysco facilities or operating companies.
