  Role Description:

  The Sr. Analyst, Email Marketing & CRM, is a strategic position supporting Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing, and Global Employee Communications team.

  Sr. Analyst, Email Marketing & CRM employees are experienced technical subject matter experts within specific domains of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and related 3rd-party applications and tools. Specifically, the Sr. Analyst is responsible for communicating and consulting on the following domains:

  Email Marketing (Ad-hoc, Automated, Personalization, Segmentation, Sends)Sales Cloud CRMData Architecture / Data UploadsReporting and Analytics

  Reporting to the Global Employee Communications, Sr. Manager, Internet Marketing and working closely with the Technical Architect, Marketing Cloud for Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing, the Sr. Analyst will primarily partner and support the broader Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing team to help advise, develop, and support world class technical solutions to recruitment marketing campaigns and employer brand initiatives.

  The role involves working with internal team members to develop, test, and perform HTML email single sends to support timely recruitment campaigns geared toward event planning and lead generation, with more elaborate campaigns requiring automated journeys or complex audience segmentation. Other duties include data synchronization across CRM platforms, periodic data uploads, and supporting data integrity through ETL activities. On other projects, the Sr. Analyst will work along with the Global Employee Communication team to create and send dynamic HTML emails, create or update SQL/filter logic and maintain automated email journeys using Automation Studio.

  This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of transforming the internal Salesforce employee ecosystem with room to grow and develop skills in server-side technologies, platform integrations, and evolving technologies such as Data Cloud and AI.

  Responsibilities:

  Develop and QA dynamic ADA compliant HTML emails with personalized content using scripting languages such as AMPScriptPerform activities in Marketing Cloud such as: Imports, Filters, File Transfer, Send Activities, Data Extracts, Tracking Reports, and building CloudPagesCreate, update, and maintain Email Journeys using Marketing Cloud Automation StudioWrite T-SQL queries to manipulate and transform CRM campaigns and reportsPerform data uploads from multiple sources. Key activities include ETL, segmentation, using SQL/SOQL queries and running Python scripts to help scale and automate long-running tasks.Perform activities in our Applicant Tracking System (Beamery) such as email builds, uploads/exports, set up automations and create web-to-lead forms using the drag and drop editorClearly and articulately share high-level flow charts and architectural diagrams with stakeholdersWrite technical documentation for specifications, procedures and processes by providing applicable artifacts (code samples, screenshots, etc.)Partner with our internal Business Technology team to support requirements gathering, administration, User Acceptance Testing(UAT) and validation of production systems.

  Requirements:

  2+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)2+ years experience with web/email reporting and analytics: Tableau Analytics (preferred), or Einstein Analytics, or DatoramaBachelor's degree a plus (Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar degree preferred) or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiencyProficient with HTML, JavaScript, JSON, XML, email scripting languages (AMPScript preferred) and personalization stringsProficient developing SQL and experience with a RDBMS such as TSQL Server (preferred), MySQL or OracleExperience with server-side programming languages such as Python (preferred), .NET (C# or VB), Java, PHP, C++Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM (SalesCloud preferred), Data Loader and web analytics tools (Tableau Analytics preferred)Familiarity working with SOAP and RESTful based APIs a plusFlexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a constantly evolving environment; meeting quick schedules, and/or with changing priorities.Optional: certifications for Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator / Email Specialist, or Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant

  For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,500 to $121,700.

  For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $97,300 to $133,800.

  Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
