  Position Summary:

  Aetna Better Health of Illinois is searching for an experienced analyst that uses data from various sources to produce ad-hoc and recurring reports/dashboards for internal and external parties. The primary responsibility within this position is to interpret, analyze, and transform data from multiple business areas to drive insights into root cause issues as well as meeting the business' reporting needs.

  The role is cross-functional across the health plan's service operation teams with an emphasis specifically on provider, claims, and configuration data. The analyst in this position is expected to have a strong technical foundation as well as the ability to relay any findings to internal and external parties in a clear and concise manner. The individual in the role must also be able to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  Project asks would range from data visualizations, process automation, regulatory reporting, and various ad-hoc projects within the operations space.

  Required Qualifications:

  - The candidate must have strong technical and communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

  - SQL: 3+ years of working experience using and writing advanced SQL scripts.

  - Excel: 3+ years of working experience using Excel with advanced proficiency.

  - Experience working with and deriving conclusions from large sets of disparate data using analytic skillset and software.

  -Strong proficiency in Python programming for data analysis and manipulation, enhancing analytical capabilities.

  - Prior experience and ability of working in a cross-functional environment to identify project requirements from multiple stakeholders and collaborate to meet shared deadlines.

  -Proven ability to work on interdisciplinary teams, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver impactful results

  -Track record of successfully implementing predictive analytics models to forecast trends, streamline operations, and enhance decision makings

  Preferred Qualifications:

  -Familiarity with healthcare information systems and datasets including claims, encounters, and provider

  -Demonstrated experience in leveraging machine learning techniques to derive insights and optimize operational process

  Education:

  - BA degree or equivalent experience.

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $43,700.00 - $105,100.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
