  Position Description

  We are currently seeking a Sr. Agency Manager to join our successful Federal organization. You will support a dynamic, fast-paced project focused on improving the cyber security posture of civilian government agencies. In this role, you will support the overall testing approach for the project and its cyber security offerings focused on next generation security solutions and technologies. The Agency Manager oversees all aspects of the planning, implementation and ongoing support of the continuous monitoring capabilities delivered. As the primary point of contact for the assigned agencies, the Agency Manger is readily available to respond to agency questions, concerns and comments as well as being proactive in alerting the agency's to potential contractual and programmatic issues. This exciting role requires an appetite for learning, superior attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, great organizational skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.

  This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

  Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee all task order deliverables for the assigned Federal agencies, including the Agency Cutover Plan and SELC documentation.

  • Conduct SELC gate reviews, including preparation of all documentation and client coordination.

  • Support budgeting and resource planning for Agency cutovers, including level of effort estimates, hardware, software, and cloud costs.

  • Maintain a detailed project schedule of Agency activities and regularly provide inputs to the projects Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

  • Ensures compliance with program task schedules and deliverables.

  • Understand and demonstrate the purpose of the CDM program, working closely with the training, governance and organizational change management SMEs to tailor materials and activities to individual Agency needs.

  • Identify, develop, and implement processes to improve scheduling and coordination efforts in delivering the services associated with the associated tasks for the assigned group or agency.

  • Participate in roadmap and innovation sessions to provide input to the shared services roadmap.

  • Lead and participate in meetings and discussions to serve as the central point of contact for the client.

  • Provide weekly status updates (e.g., weekly issues, process improvements, implementation updates, project status updates, program performance, risks).

  Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

  • 5-8 years of experience in managing IT or security related project.

  • Knowledge and experience leading IT implementations.

  • Experience working directly with government clients in a consultative relationship.

  • Experience using Microsoft Project and understanding of critical path analysis of schedules.

  • Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels and demonstrate ability to diplomatically and effectively deal with government officials and program office stakeholders.

  • Experience successfully conducting government SELC gate reviews.

  • Ability to balance and prioritize many diverse tasks at once.

  • Ability to manage in a matrixed environment, utilizing a mix of dedicated and shared resources.

  Desired qualifications

  • Ability to establish operational objectives and work plans for the respective agencies and delegate assignments to subordinates.

  • Experience with the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.

  CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $94,500 - $181,800.
