The Village Giving Sr. Administrator manages volunteerism programs and reporting for 55,000 teammates globally. This individual plays a vital role in the overall culture and teammate engagement that is part of the Village's Corporate Social Responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Village VolunteerismManage the execution of Villagewide volunteerism for more than 55,000 teammates including the planning and executing of volunteer projects and teammate engagementManage reporting and strategy for the Healthy Communities ESG Goal: 125,000 volunteer hours by 2025Helps maintain data integrity in Benevity platformSupport Dollars for Doers program by tracking hours, communicating with teammates and encouraging overall participationLead neighborhood and field volunteerism Ripples Councils which promote local volunteerismBuild or maintain strategic partnerships with key internal leaders, community, civic, education and business organizations through involvement with event support, volunteer projects, board or committee participation.Communicate volunteerism opportunities to teammates and highlight stories of impact through internal and external channelsWork with executives & management level employees to represent DaVita on the boards of directors of strategic community nonprofit organizationsPlan and manage large volunteer events with Village Gatherings, usually over 200 attendees including budget management and logisticsSupport team volunteer initiatives, sharing reports, how to set goals, and advising on volunteer opportunitiesIdentify and align volunteer opportunities with DaVita key nonprofit partners nationallyManage dynamic volunteerism, skills-based volunteerism, program working to identify quarterly projects and tracking outcomesIntegrate volunteer opportunities into DaVita's annual Day of Giving and launch end of year volunteer campaignWork alongside Village Green to align volunteerism to green actionsSustain partnerships with nonprofits related to teammate engagement Village Giving Initiatives
Provide cross-functional project leadership, management and/or coordination for a variety of Village Giving initiativesPlan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload using judgment and the ability to work independentlySupport submission of community award nominations for Village Giving in partnership with key internal departmentsIdentifies, recommends and implements process improvements and changes in office practices and proceduresMeeting and event logistics planning and administrationPrepares reports and presentations with various levels of confidentiality: collects information, compiles into standard or non-standard format, prints, proofs, and distributes to appropriate teamWorks collaboratively across teams.Education and ExperienceFoundation or corporate social responsibility experienceBachelor's Degree in a related field.Demonstrated work or volunteer experience in the community involvement area, with proven history of ability to quickly build interpersonal relationships, manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and use influence to generate results.Knowledge and use of software tools for recruiting volunteers, managing related data, etcWhat We'll Provide
