Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking a SQL DBA to support a large Healthcare client based out of Richmond, VA. We are looking for a SQL DBA with strong experience in building SQL environments in Azure and large database migrations (1TB database currently in SQL 2012). The candidate will be working with the DBA and infrastructure teams to design the environments, but should be able to be able to work independently to implement. The candidate will also help document a data dictionary for the 1TB database.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Work with DBA and infrastructure teams to stand-up new SQL environments in Azure

　　Ensure all related SQL server objects are successfully set up (jobs, security, alerts, etc)

　　Ensure database monitoring is successfully in place for all environments

　　Identify any stopgaps converting a SQL 2012 database/server to latest version of SQL

　　Create a data dictionary for our application database

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Strong experience in Azure is a must, especially SQL Managed Instance and Azure SQL

　　Strong experience with large database migrations is a must

　　Strong experience with SQL replication

　　Strong SQL skills, especially DDL SQL

　　Advanced knowledge of database security, maintenance, performance monitoring (particularly in Azure)

　　Understanding of relational data modeling

　　Experience with SSIS and/or converting SSIS null
