　　We are looking for Specialist Level Software Engineer to join our cutting edge Claims Data domain teams within PCDS.  As part of the Tier1 program Hercules, this role will lead delivery in cloud-based technologies, such as real-time streaming and data harmonization, as we build the future P&C Data Lakehouse.  You will help enable DataOps across the application suite through the utilization of Agile, DevOps and Lean.

　　Coaches and advises developers in best practices, tools and consistent processes

　　Leads the design and development of IT solutions

　　Leads troubleshooting efforts and provides solutions to complex software development problems

　　Drives innovative solutions that accelerate adoption of technologies and business products

　　As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

　　Typical Skills and Experiences:

　　Education: Completion of undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree. 

　　Experience: Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.

　　Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

　　Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
