This job is a member of the Marketing team within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for the creation and deployment of retail sales strategies, programs and assets designed to meet the organizational goals and objectives and promote advocacy of the American Airlines Credit Union brand.
What you'll do
Work in a collaborative environment to develop year-long marketing strategies that support the business goals
Coordinate and deploy multi-channel marketing and advertising projects and promotions within our retail sales program according to marketing calendar
Be primary expert and advocate of the American Airlines Credit Union brand and its application to our retail sales programs
Conceptualize, design, and create high-quality visuals in a variety of formats according to our brand guidelines
Support and help champion the administration of department programs including but not limited to: webinars, dealership network, brand ambassadors, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
High school diploma or GED
Minimum two years of work experience relevant to the nature of the described job duties
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related area, or equivalent work experienceSkills, Licenses & Certifications
Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
Working knowledge of Adobe suite products, including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat DC
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and capacity for strong attention to detail
Ability to accept ownership, responsibility and accountability for functional obligations, managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and adapting to a changing environment
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team
Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships across departments and front-line team members
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to adjust work schedule and work additional hours as necessary to support operational needs
Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
