  Job Description Summary

  As a Lead Customs Operations Specialist you will be part of the regional Gas Power operational Customs Team to implement operational efficiencies in the import/export processes and support daily operational activities.

  Job Description

  Le/La Spécialiste en chef des opérations douanières fait partie de l'équipe opérationnelle régionale Douanes de Gas Power. Il/Elle est chargé(e) de mettre en œuvre l'efficacité opérationnelle dans les processus d'importation/exportation et de participer aux activités opérationnelles quotidiennes.

  Responsabilités

  Gérer l'exécution opérationnelle quotidienne, les économies sur les droits de douane et les programmes de conformité (perfectionnement actif, opérateur économique agréé, etc.) pour GE Energy Products FranceGarder le contact avec les autorités douanières, les contacts du site, les courtiers en douane et les points de contact douaniers des autres branches en France, si nécessaireRecueillir les principaux indicateurs clés de performance (volume, temps de cycle, FPY, dépenses en droits de douane, économies sur les droits de douane) à des fins de reportingCollaborer avec des contacts commerciaux pour recueillir les informations techniques nécessaires aux autorités douanièresGérer la remontée des problèmes de non réponse aux demandes HTS et aux exigences en matière de donnéesSoumettre les modifications après entrée, le cas échéantFournir un soutien à l'équipe en charge des opérations d'exportation pour les exportations de Belfort/BourogneFournir un soutien en matière d'opérations douanières pour les expéditions de projets gérés par GE Energy Products FranceAider l'équipe des opérations régionales à mettre en œuvre les programmes de conformité des échanges commerciaux requisSuperviser les projets de réduction du temps de cycle et de remontée des problèmes avant entréeMettre en œuvre des plans d'action corrective après auditCollaborer de façon proactive sur la mise en œuvre de nouveaux programmes spéciaux, le cas échéantFournir son assistance dans le cadre des opérations avant entrée/du suivi des expéditions et résoudre les cas de remontée des problèmes pour certains sites Gas Power dans la régionFournir son assistance aux processus logistiques selon les besoins

  Qualifications minimales :

  Bac +3 en logistique, commerce international, finance/comptabilité ou équivalent dans une université ou un établissement d'enseignement supérieur agréé(e) (diplôme en cours d'obtention accepté) avec un minimum de 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des processus douaniersExpérience dans le domaine des processus douaniers (classification tarifaire, évaluation en douane, pays d'origine)Formation en alternance sur les opérations douanières, en vertu de la nouvelle législation de l'Union douanière (diplôme en cours d'obtention accepté)Français courant, à l'écrit comme à l'oralBonnes compétences de communication en anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écritMaîtrise des logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  Responsibilities

  Manage daily operational execution, duty savings and compliance programs (Inward Processing, Authorized Economic Operator etc.) for GE Energy Products FranceKeep contact with the Customs Authorities, site contacts, customs brokers and customs focal points of other Businesses in France as necessaryGather primary KPIs (Volume, Cycle time, FPY, duty spend, duty savings) for reporting purposesCollaborate with business contacts to gather technical information required for Customs AuthoritiesManage escalations for non-response to HTS questions and data requirementsSubmit post entry amendments as applicableProvide Export Operations support for Belfort / Bourogne exportsProvide customs support for GE Energy Products France owned projects shipmentsAssist regional operations team to implement required trade compliance programsLead cycle time & pre-entry escalation reduction projectsImplement audit corrective action plansProactive collaboration on new Special program implementation as applicablePre-Entry / Live Shipment Support & Escalation Resolution for selected Gas Power sites in the RegionProvide support to logistics processes as required

  Minimum Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Finance/Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university or college (graduation in progress is accepted) with minimum 3 year experience in customs processesExperience in customs processes (tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin)Customs 'work-linked training courses' qualification under new Union Customs legislation (Formation en alternance) (graduation in progress is accepted)Fluent in verbal and written communication skills in FrenchGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
