Overview\Remote - In South Division (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia,Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, SouthCarolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia)
The EHS & regulatory resource is responsible for enabling a strongsafety culture within the division that delivers a world class safetyrecord by ensuring programs exist to engage the frontline, incidents arehandled with urgency and care, and full compliance to EHS policies ismet. This role also ensures all locations are setup to deliver AIB andFDA regulatory requirements to keep our consumers safe.
Responsibilities\* Implement, execute, ensure compliance with the PBNA EHS policies andprocedures, and all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA regulations (i.e.Lockout, Haz Com, Machine Safety, RCRA, etc.)\* Lead the development and implementation of the EHS Annual OperatingPlans and EHS Action Plans for the division\* Achieve annual targets rates for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, andEnvironmental\* Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state occupationalsafety and environmental regulations\* Deliver compliance with all FDA regulations\* Develop, implement, execute, and manage strategies to preventworkplace injuries, environmental incidents\* Facilitate timely EHS and regulator incident investigations\* Display strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills\* Demonstrate professional maturity and ability to act as a changeleader by influencing all levels of the organization to drive continuousimprovement in safety performance\* Conduct EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensureongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements, Zero ZoneManagement System standards, Emergency Response and internal PepsiCo EHSprocedures\* Perform risk assessments and assist in the implementation ofeffective physical and/or behavioral control measures. Recognize andverify the effectiveness of in-place control measures\* Identify unsafe behaviors and conditions while demonstratingknowledge of appropriate corrective actions
Qualifications\* Effective communication and interpersonal skills including publicspeaking skills and presence in meetings and training environments\* Demonstrate excellent organizational skills use PC and relatedsoftware (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) handle multiplepriorities and meet critical deadlines\* Ability to make and deliver training presentations workcollaboratively with colleagues to create a results driven.\* \"Team oriented environment maintain confidentiality make independentdecisions\* Functional EHS knowledge in regulatory requirements, EHS technicalaspects (safety, industrial hygiene, environmental regulatorymanagement, risk management, behavior-based safety, training, regulatoryagency enforcement\* Displays strong problem solving, organizational and analyticalskills.\* Strong project management skills including financial responsibility,budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, execution, andstart-up/commissioning, managing multiple concurrent projects/programs.\* Demonstrates professional maturity and ability to act as a changeleader.\* Understands and can articulate environmental regulations.
Travel:\* Travel will be required for this role, approximately 25% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits:\* The expected compensation range for this position is between\$68,000 - \$113,850 based on a full-time schedule.\* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will beconsidered in setting actual starting salary\* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% ofannual salary paid out annually.\* Paid ti e off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave,vacation, sick, and bereavement.\* In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefitspackage to support our employees and their families, subject toelections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Healthand Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program(EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined ContributionRetirement Plan.
