OverviewRemote - In South Division (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia)
The EHS and regulatory resource is responsible for enabling a strong safety culture within the division that delivers a world class safety record by ensuring programs exist to engage the frontline, incidents are handled with urgency and care, and full compliance to EHS policies is met. This role also ensures all locations are setup to deliver AIB and FDA regulatory requirements to keep our consumers safe.
Responsibilities* Implement, execute, ensure compliance with the PBNA EHS policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA regulations (i.e. Lockout, Haz Com, Machine Safety, RCRA, etc.)* Lead the development and implementation of the EHS Annual Operating Plans and EHS Action Plans for the division* Achieve annual targets rates for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, and Environmental* Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state occupational safety and environmental regulations* Deliver compliance with all FDA regulations* Develop, implement, execute, and manage strategies to prevent workplace injuries, environmental incidents* Facilitate timely EHS and regulator incident investigations* Display strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills* Demonstrate professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader by influencing all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement in safety performance* Conduct EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements, Zero Zone Management System standards, Emergency Response and internal PepsiCo EHS procedures* Perform risk assessments and assist in the implementation of effective physical and/or behavioral control measures. Recognize and verify the effectiveness of in-place control measuresIdentify unsafe behaviors and conditions while demonstrating knowledge of appropriate corrective actions
Qualifications* Effective communication and interpersonal skills including public speaking skills and presence in meetings and training environments* Demonstrate excellent organizational skills use PC and related software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines* Ability to make and deliver training presentations work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results driven.* "Team oriented environment maintain confidentiality make independent decisions* Functional EHS knowledge in regulatory requirements, EHS technical aspects (safety, industrial hygiene, environmental regulatory management, risk management, behavior-based safety, training, regulatory agency enforcement* Displays strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.* Strong project management skills including financial responsibility, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, execution, and start-up/commissioning, managing multiple concurrent projects/programs.* Demonstrates professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader.* Understands and can articulate environmental regulations.
Travel:* Travel will be required for this role, approximately 25% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits:* The expected compensation range for this position is between $68,000 - $113,850 based on a full-time schedule.* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
