Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Conduct data analysis, prepare quantitative models, work with project teams
Strong understanding of source to contract and/or category management services as it pertains to sourcing and procurement processes
Strong experience in spend diagnosis and assessment, using analytical tools: Excel, Sql, Access, etc.
Demonstrate category knowledge in one or more indirect/direct categories (e.g. IT, Telecom, HR, Marketing, Facilities, MRO, Professional Services, Travel, etc.)
Experience in execution medium to large sized sourcing projects
Work with client stakeholder to understand and documents their requirements
Perform TCO (total cost of ownership) analysis and market research to develop robust sourcing strategies and recommendations
Strong ability to synthesize data into actionable insights, deliverables and robust sourcing strategies
Develop project plans and drive the execution of the sourcing strategy
Work with team and client stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
Present project results including identified savings and recommendations to client executives
Address escalated issues to ensure client satisfaction
Manage medium complexity negotiations and support contracting process
Support development category eminence, strategies and products/services to demonstrate Deloitte's expertise and market presence

From our centers, we work with Deloitte consultants at client site to analyze, design, develop, and build solutions to help clients reimagine, reshape and rewire the competitive fabric of their supply chains across industries. Our US centers house a multitude of specialists, ranging from systems designers, architects, integrators, analytics experts, domain specialists to creative digital experts as well as cyber risk and human capital professionals. All work together on diverse projects from advisory services, advanced preconfigured solutions and methodologies, to brand-building and campaign management. Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience from reputed institutes
4+ years' experience in sourcing, supplier management, category management or industry environment with a demonstrated track record of results
Experience with one or more indirect/direct categories (e.g. IT, Telecom, HR, Marketing, Facilities, MRO, Professional Services, Travel, etc.)
Experience running strategic sourcing projects
Minimum of 2 years of relevant prior consulting and/or industry experience
Develop score cards and analyze sourcing results to guide client decisions
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Highly proficient working with MS Office suite (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)
Understanding of product sourcing, materials purchasing and ability to work with clients on vendor management best practices
Candidates should demonstrate experience and / or knowledge in any sector (experience in the Consumer Industrial Products, Technology Telecom , Automotive, and Health Industries, including Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices would be an added bonus)
Previous work experience with sourcing event management using E-sourcing applications such as: Ariba, Coupa, Etc.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations
Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Post Graduate degree from reputed institutes
Experience with visualization tools such as: Tableau, QlikView, QlikSense, Perceptive, R, SAS, MS Visio
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Strong project management skills
Ability to foster relationship with client stakeholders
Certifications in Supply Chain Programs like CSCP, CPSM, SCPro, CPP, SPSM or equivalent
