Become a Source to Pay Senior Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll be responsible for planning, directing and implementing the strategic direction for supply chain management's source to pay processes, platforms and technologies. You will lead a team of approximately 12 employees to support the development, implementation, maintenance and governance of procurement processes and source to pay platforms. You will develop a Source to Pay roadmap, obtain consensus from stakeholders, develop and implement source to pay initiatives, projects and technology tools that will result in increasing efficiencies and operational and service excellence. You will partner closely with Procurement, other Organizational Units and external parties to identify projects, business transformation/process re-engineering opportunities, and end-user change management and training needs to optimize the source to pay process.

Lead resources and budget levels to meet strategic objectives and operational needs
Set strategic direction for the team, including leadership development, capacity building and individual development to deliver comprehensive sourcing solutions and value propositions. Rationalize business processes needs, including metrics and operational data. Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, NextGen, Organization Units, IT, other team members and external parties to develop and implement Source to Pay strategies including platforms (i.e., SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, etc.). Develop and implement change management strategies and end user training. Partner with other Organizational Units and/or external parties to assess work streams and activities for opportunities to streamline, automate, and/or introduce new technologies. Assess current and future business processes for best work practice, and/or technological fit based on external market and industry practices. Develop, implement and maintain governance and controls over Source to Pay processes, OS policies, processes and procedures
Understand, assess, and anticipate the internal/external strategic landscape of Operational Services and how this impacts the operational needs of Operating Units. Lead and work with cross functional teams and forums across the company on projects/initiatives that are complex, requiring negotiating skills to build consensus with stakeholders, maintain partnerships and deliver successful results. Make, recommend and/or approve employment decisions (e.g., hiring, promotion, appropriate pay, rewards/recognition, succession planning, and termination). Manage employee performance for direct and/or matrixed reports. Establish performance expectations and goals aligned with Company objectives, policies and procedures
Lead, train and develop staff by providing timely feedback, coaching and support.
Qualifications
The essentials
Five or more years of experience managing, supervising or leading a team(s). Two or more years' experience integrating strategies with technology solutions such as SAP, FieldGlass and Ariba.
The preferred
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
Business processes and platforms experience within a Procurement organization. Experience working with clients, including independently identifying client needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables and presenting results. Experience working with cross functional teams, influencing outcomes and removing barriers.
Experience interfacing, collaborating with executive, senior management, peers, departments, and external parties to develop solutions and ensure consensus. Experience implementing and enhancing procurement tools, strategies, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM).
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate; Lean Six Sigma.
You should know
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
