About the Role

　　Building relationships with millions of customers around the world requires effective management of customer profiles from across the enterprise. The MDM Products team provides the tools and resources to bring together information from dozens of systems to provide a seamless customer experience.

　　This role requires a senior technical system owner to deliver on critical Master Data Management (MDM) projects and operations within the Data Digital and IT (DDIT) function supporting Novartis' Innovative Medicines business. You will partner with stakeholders from within the commercial business, IT, and other internal and external partners for demand analysis, solution design, and overall project delivery.

　　Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　• Execute technology delivery strategy for business systems, platforms, and processes for MDM projects across Europe and other international locations.

　　• Work closely with business partners to ensure Technology Service/Solutions Delivery teams deliver products according to strategy with reuse across other areas. Ensure they are on time, within budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio for your service area.

　　• Ensure services, solutions, platforms, products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact.

　　• Run efficient DevOps for platforms, products, or systems ensuring availability and optimal performance for responsible function / service area.

　　• Establish governance structure for projects, operations, etc. with right stakeholder representation.

　　• Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders within your remit.

　　• Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing, deploying new solutions and services.

　　Role Requirements

　　What you'll bring to the role:

　　Essential:

　　• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline.

　　• 8+ years IT experience in a highly qualified function including experience as technology & solution delivery lead within Commercial IT.

　　• 2+ years of experience working with Master Data Management solutions, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

　　• Experience with Commercial data and relationships between data entities is highly desirable.

　　• Experience of working effectively with multiple and complex projects in a matrix organization to deliver results with quality and on time within budget.

　　• Demonstrable ability to develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders.

　　• Validated ability to deal with uncertainty, adjusting course as the circumstances change, without jeopardizing the end goals and the achievement of the strategic objectives.

　　• Effective communications style with the ability to influence local and global teams and increase the awareness of the value creation of solutions you are implementing.

　　Desirable:

　　• Experience with leading MDM technologies, including Reltio, Informatica, or EBX.

　　• Familiarity with global pharmaceutical data sources, including (e.g., OneKey, Ampco, Medidata)
