We are looking for an experienced Solutions Consultant to scale Adobe's presence in the largest US districts. In this role, the Activation Consultant removes the friction from students and educators accessing Adobe products via enablement of integrations, and delivery of login guides and access instructions and discoverability standard processes. This role will be instrumental in driving active use and success in using Adobe products with strategic accounts, helping thousands of teachers and students bring creativity into their classrooms.
Job Description Summary
Provides technical expertise through presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products. Assists account management in assessing applications to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. Contributes to and build product demonstrations to showcase how to launch delegations and integrations to customers. Provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications. Provide follow-up support to company field staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.Responsibilities in the role:
Drive integration and discoverability activation and usage for portfolio of strategic US K12 districtsSource contacts within each district, establish relationships with appropriate parties and navigate organizations to reach the right decision-makers. Use email, social media, and other common communication tools as well as in-person visitsProactively address strategic technical needsPartner with account Engagement Managers and Evangelists to address technical needs of districtsReactively respond to urgent district issuesTroubleshoot customer concerns and sophisticated support issuesDevelop materials and processes to ease deployment and increase useTrain districts and internal teams on technical onboarding/integrationsUse data to strategically engage assigned customer pipeline to drive quick implementation and full adoption of Adobe products. Familiarity with PowerBI. Excel, Tableau a plus.Problem-solve with district IT admins on the biggest barriers to unlocking student and teacher active use in the classroomContribute to scalable standard methodologies for what works to drive provisioning, first login, and active use across the largest districts in the region.Drive strategies to build scale and share insights with the team based on strategic account experiences and contactsAdvocate within Adobe on behalf of students, teachers, and administrators.Bring an ambitious self-starter, business-leader demeanor to your work.
The ideal candidate will have:
6-8+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as technical sales, sales engineer, customer success, and account management, ideally with US school districts and district leadership.Comfort with product development, navigating access and deployment, and familiarity with Adobe Express.In-depth experience and understanding of the education ecosystem and how to reach key influencers across districtsFamiliarity with the EDU tech stack a plus: Clever, Classlink, Canvas, Azure, Google Classroom, etc.Experience and success getting customers to buy into project timelines and implement plansMotivation to reach big goals and operate in a growing, changing environmentA customer-centered approach, encouraging students and teachers and partnering with leadershipExperience using data to get results with customers and accountsExceptional, clear and conscientious communication and presentation skillsStrong work ethic, combining bias toward action with innovative thinking
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $96,800 -- $184,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
