JOB SUMMARY
As an Individual contributor, the Solutions Architect role contributes to the formulation of architecture approaches to specific Charter development initiatives. Participates in high-level of collaboration and coordination with other architecture groups across the Charter Product and Technology organizations. Works with business stakeholders, application architects, and technical leaders to drive holistic technology solutions across teams and platforms. Relies on continuous feedback, fosters adaptive design and engineering best practices, and drives collaboration around an optimal solution (functional, application and data perspectives).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Responsible for solutioning the assigned project or program, sometimes providing multiple solutions and ensuring documentation is in place.Collaborates with other architects from external departments, including IT teams, to provide a high-level design document for enterprise solutions and development initiativesStrongly collaborates with application architects to ensure smooth handover of the solutionShares solution architectural best practices across organization Establishes and executes solution architecture management processes and other governance processesUnderstands classic solution concepts, architecture, and use cases for use in new systemsParticipates in the strategy for building and maintaining the solution architectural roadmapUnderstand leading industry design patterns and latest trendsManage documentation and document repository for existing patents Understand and communicate the differences between the overall enterprise and individual applicationsHelp define SLAs from the enterprise side and look for optimization and improve performance opportunities on an ongoing basis by working with appropriate teams.Provides subject matter expertise for an assigned technology domain.Contributes to the execution of proofs-of-concept for innovative approaches and platforms.
Provides technical assistance to development and operations personnel on new system projects and existing systems.Participates in collaborations with business and technical teams to review conflicts/gaps between functional goals and existing capabilities.Provides written documentation for business and technical teams of those discussions and conclusions.Adheres to best practices for code development, version control, test automation and build automation.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Technical experience in software engineering and architecture - 5+ years
Delivery experience in development of highly scalable software platforms - 5+ years
Demonstrated experience with software architecture design - 5+ years
Telecom or Cable Ordering Architecture - 3+ years
