The revenue cycle outsourcing market is a growth area for Optum Insight within our RCM business. As such Optum is seeking to hire 2 Solution Sales executives to join its dynamic sales team. The Solution Sales Executive (SSE), RCM Services, will be responsible for leading the sales process with both current and net new customers.
The role is a remote based position and is open to candidates in the US who have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time. We are hiring for two positions, with territories in both the Western and Central region of the US.

Primary Responsibilities:
Use prospecting skills and techniques to introduce RCM and Contact Center services among the healthcare market in each geographic territory Working as part of a team, lead sales opportunities from beginning through implementation hand off. Create strong internal working relationships with client executives, health systems counterparts, product management, finance, delivery assurance and advisory professionals to creatively solve client problems Facilitate resolution of major sales objections and customer escalations presented by potential and existing customers Call on and effectively introduce Optum to key decision makers, including C Suite Articulate Optum benefits and value adds to help increase deal size Demonstrate knowledge of revenue cycle management process to prospects and customers, building both individual and company credibility Maintain and update salesforce daily for timely reporting and forecasting Follow OI sales approval processes for all opportunities Manage the contracting process through execution stage to ensure successful outcomes Effectively leverage company tradeshow events to build new funnel, and close new sales opportunities Meet or exceed annual sales targets

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience
Required Qualifications:
2+ years proven successful Healthcare Sales experience Experience and proficiency using a CRM systems, preferably Salesforce Demonstrated knowledge in healthcare revenue cycle (front, middle or back end) Proven track record of year over year sales success in driving growth and /or quota attainment Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling Revenue Cycle Services health system/provider market Knowledge of healthcare trends, industry standards and successful strategies for growing sales Currently reside in or have managed a territory in either the Central or Western part of the US Current pipeline of clients in Western or Central territories
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $90,000 to $180,000 per year. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.
