Segments and accounts are one of the most important go to market channel for Hitachi Energy, as defined by our strategy and reflected in the organizational structure of the Marketing and Sales Organization.
To support the growth and strengthen our technological leadership in the segments and accounts, we identified the need to appoint Solutions Managers, who will support the Industry Network Leaders (INL) in their quest to position Hitachi Energy as market leader in the respective segments.
A fundamental role of the Digital Solution Manager is to be the technical leader for the segment, supporting the Industrial Network Leader (INL) in creating and maintaining a sound roadmap for the segment, in close collaboration with the product management organization and by bridging the technology and marketing teams.

Your responsibilities
Support the strategic positioning in the segmentDevelop a good understanding and a structured analysis of the market segment trends, customer needs and competitor positioningIdentify potential strategic portfolio opportunities to cover the current and future market gapsDefine clear and comprehensive market requirements and work with the PM organization to ensure the respective Product Managers are aware and consider them in the businessesDefine and promote the digital value propositionSupport Marketing and Competence Development organizations to upskill and train the internal Marketing and Sales organization on the segment value propositionRun technical and innovation workshops with customers on specific concepts, offerings, or technologiesLead techno-economical assessments for supporting strategy definition and liaise with R&D teams for providing most updated inputs on segment technology trends
Your background
University Degree in the field of technology studiesAt least 10 - 15 years of proven working experience in the relevant area (Digital)Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities, as well as solid business acumenAbility to collaborate, partner with external vendors and service providers to manage solution design and deliveryKnowledge of IT/OTExperience in leading by influence to establish and strive to achieve a shared goal, to foster a positive workplace and to improve organisational results and success
