What you'll do:

　　You will be responsible to manage one or more enquiries (direct invitation to Eaton via Sales and/or Business Development Teams) or bids open in response to open tenders. You will also be required to manage the technology side of all the bids within the guidelines established by Eaton bidding processes and procedures.

　　The Technologies covered under the Devices Business includes MTL Barriers, Foundation Fieldbus Barriers and Multiplexers. This role will report into the Eaton Crouse Hinds India Proposals Leader. Working Experience in an International OEM and/or Leading Industrial SI in the same space is mandatory. This role is of an Individual Contributor and therefore hands on design and estimation experience is mandatory.

　　1. Lead all technical discussions and interactions with Customers, Partners, and Suppliers.

　　2. Collect and understand customer requirements

　　3. Take Lead Role in Design & Estimation of all Major Proposals that get approved in the Bid No-Bid and any other emergency bids.

　　4. Provide accurate technical solutions for all Devices Bid Proposals for MTL line of Products.

　　5. Define and build solution with support of technical teams.

　　6. Build the estimate, review and validate proposal documents.

　　7. Ensure compliance to RFP requirements

　　8. Review and validate internal estimates of products and services.

　　9. Present technical solutions to customers.

　　10. Support consultants and customers in the Pre-RFP stage to define their needs and requirements

　　11. Assist in the development of tailored solutions and value propositions for supported projects

　　12. Work Closely with the Subject Matter Experts and Engineering Leads and ensure all bids are signed off with the Engineering Leads prior to the DOA Reviews

　　13. Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

　　14. You should be able to interact with internal/external clients and present the professional image of Eaton.

　　15. Reviewing scope for all opportunities and proposals, and deliver on technical compliance statements

　　16. Work closely with sales & business development teams in understanding and assessing customer's requirements

　　17. Selecting the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials and services that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Eaton business objectives.

　　18. Must have the ability to multitask and produce desired results in a deadline driven environment. Proposals include technical scope, commercial estimates, deliverables, schedules and terms and conditions and other variables to meet customer requests and expectations. All proposal work must be completed according to Eaton professional standards.

　　Qualifications:

　　• BTech/BE degree in Engineering from a reputed University.

　　• Mandatory Experience as Proposals &Estimator and.or Sr. Estimation Engineer in a similar market segment.

　　• 8-10 Years of Hands-on Estimation, Design Experience is Mandatory for Industrial DCS, PLC including Interface technology such as IS Barriers, HART Multiplexer, Foundation Fieldbus.

　　Skills:

　　• Knowledge of Hazardous area classifications and requirements.

　　• Working Knowledge of systems such as DCS, PLC, Cabinet sizing and Marshalling.

　　• Should possess the knowledge to Design and engineer all the above-mentioned systems and do estimation for the same.

　　• Prepare Drawings, Compliance Statements and Submittals in line with the highest Eaton Standards

　　• Proactive approach and provide customers value engineered solutions and products that help meet the budget of the customers.

　　• A working knowledge of existing hardware installations and upgrade requirements to current technology

　　• Be knowledgeable for new products and applications as they are introduced

　　• Be proficient with Standard Hardware Drawing tool set for submittals. Re-use is the focus here

　　• Excellent PC skills including strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Knowledge
