Solution Architect
Overall objective of the role (Solution Architect):
The Solution Architect has the accountability of the overall technical solution, especially when it comes to integrating different bricks/modules together. He or she should apply the best practices, country specific knowledge, and technical know-how to ensure that the solution fits the client's requirements and specifications. Most of the time, the solution architect supports the implementation of Alight Worklife solution; but the role is also applicable for other major global HRIS implementations where several components/products are involved.
Tasks
Lead Global Workshops, depending on size of program also participation to local workshops might be required.Lead any discussions related to the overall solution, ensuring that the implemented customer solution adheres to Alight standards, and where possible improving Alight standards by raising enhancementsCommunicate and report solution status to the program manager and project team members e.g. Status Reports, progress and next activitiesSupport the different project team members in understanding the solution aspectsDeal with escalations related to the solutionReview and approve Change Requests related to overall solution.Coordinate the build of non-standard interfaces and raise SNOW ticket (if no global integration lead is assigned on the programme)Support the Solution Engineer on implementation and testing phasesAssist in the cut-over planning and support the cut-overSupport hypercareSupport Sales (RFP, feasibility studies, pricing etc)Support initiatives for implementation methodology, improvements in ways of working.Mentor Solution Engineers and/or junior Solution Architects
Formal Education and Certification
Bachelor's Degree required, related to Computer Science, Software Engineering or related engineering fields.Strong knowledge of English Language
Knowledge and Experience
6 to 10+ years professional experience or Consumer Experience/Benefits/Payroll/Cloud firm experience requiredHave a firm holistic understanding of both the operational and scope aspects of the HCM market.Good presentation skills at the C-Suite levelExperience developing IT and cloud infrastructures based on standard componentsExperience with software engineering, customer experience and design architectureAdvanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processesAbility to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
